Hello, hello!
I guess you can tell from the title that this post is the last one in regards to mine and Vannie's time in glorious Glasgow. Without further ado, here is what happened during our last couple days...
Day 6: Enjoyable Edinburgh!
Day six saw us taking a trip down to Edinburgh for the day. We took the coach (an hour and a half) early in the morning so we could spend the whole day exploring the city.

Once we arrived, we crossed over the North Bridge and found our way to the Royal Mile. We walked up to Edinburgh Castle and around the grounds a bit. We didn't end up paying to go in. I've already been and in my opinion, there are a lot of other castles around the UK that are free admission and a better experience. I had asked Vannie if she wanted to go in but she said no, so we walked around the grounds outside before venturing down an alley we found outside of the main entrance of the castle. The stairs took us down from the top of the Royal Mile to the bottom of another road. I cannot recall it's name but it runs parallel to the Royal Mile.
We then continued on and joined onto the Royal Mile once again and walked down. We had decided to take our time and do the whole mile. Twice.
After we had exhausted the Royal Mile, we walked back to Waterloo Street and found some street performers. We stumbled upon a band called The Spinning Blowfish as we were walking by the art gallery. They were putting on an impromptu show and it drew a decent sized crowd. They were quite good! I've discovered that I really enjoy the bagpipes (check out Red Hot Chilli Pipers - trust me on this). I ended up buying their CD as well! If you'd like to check them out, they are on Facebook and Twitter.
After sitting to watch and enjoy the show by The Spinning Blowfish, Vannie and I continued our stroll to check out some vendors that were set up along side of the gallery. We also got some people watching in before having to head back to the coach station to catch our bus back to Glasgow.
We got back to Glasgow at 8:40 pm and headed back to our AirBnB accommodation to get a good night's sleep.
Day 7: Fare thee well, Glasgow!
Once we had arrived home from our day trip to Edinburgh, Vannie and I repacked our bags and ensured that we were not forgetting anything that needed to come with us.

We had to get the bus at 5:40 am to begin our journey to the airport which means that we were up at 4:50 am to get ready. We checked into our flight on Ryanair a couple days before our flight so we were all ready to go!
We got to the airport and checked our bags and we were off to our next destination on our EuroTrip 2016....
Yes, my friends, Vannie and I are heading to Ireland for our next stop. I will update again soon with our Irish adventures. :-)
Until next time,
Toodaloo, lads & lassie's! X
P.S. I will add photos once I have a reliable WiFi connection.
